With the upcoming Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare lot’s of seniors will be getting inundated with marketing trying to persuade them to signup for a new Medicare Plan. Unfortunately, a lot of agents and call centers don’t disclose how restrictive some plans can be when it comes to provider options.
Every year we hear from clients who were signed up for a new Medicare plan and their primary doctor or specialist are not in the new plans network. We then have to wait until the following enrollment period to change them back to their old plan so they can see their doctors in-network. In the meantime they have to use a new doctor or pay out-of-pocket.
