CSO Medicare Supplement Plan F
A majority of folks opt for the Medicare Supplement Plan F offered by Central States Health and Life Co. of Omaha Plan F is a popular option because it covers 100% of all costs that Medicare does not pay in full, as long as the services are Medicare-eligible. It’s important to note that only folks who turned 65 or became eligible for Medicare prior to January 1st, 2020 are eligible for Plan F now.
Plan F is also the most expensive supplement plan but offers one of the most robust coverages that fill in the “gap” from Original Medicare. However, if you don’t qualify, you can still turn to Plan G as a better, more cost-effective solution.
CSO Medicare Supplement Plan G
Plan G is an effective alternative to Plan F. You get all the features and benefits of Plan F, with the sole exception being that you have to pay the Medicare Part B deductible.
Here are some of the highlights of Medigap Plan G:
- Medicare Part A deductible
- Additional 365 days of coverage after standard Medicare benefits
- Hospice care
- Part B excess charges
In addition, one of the positives of Plan G is that the deductible is $226 in 2023. Since you have to pay a lower premium, the cost is covered over the long run.
